Hi, I’m Amiyah—founder of Honey’s Floral Design Studio.

At 21, I’m currently a college student studying chemistry, where my love for structure, detail, and presentation first began. Over time, that appreciation naturally extended into floristry—where the anatomy of flowers and the art of design came together, allowing me to create and express myself in a meaningful way.

Honey’s is more than a business—it’s a reflection of growth, healing, and purpose.

On April 20th 2025, I began a new chapter in my life, committing myself to personal and spiritual growth. Through that journey, I found my way back to creativity. Floristry became my outlet—something that allowed me to channel love, intention, and emotion into every piece I create.

The name Honey’s holds deep meaning. It was a nickname given to late my mother, Mikheala Thompson, by late my great grandmother, Barbara Harrison, and is a tribute to the women who poured into me and shaped who I am today. Just as honey is described as sweet, so is the love we are called to give and receive—something I strive to express through my work each day. The orchid in our branding represents my grandmother’s favorite flower—a symbol of the beauty and strength she carried.
